As member of the Planning Department the Planner obtains forecasts from Sales, interprets these figures and may challenge these whilst making sure that the short- and longer term planning is in place so that the right orders can be placed on time. He/she is responsible for ensuring maximum goods availability to guarantee superior service to customers, as well as for optimizing stock according to company objectives. The Planner will make sure that the right processes, tools and KPIs are in place to support and improve planning activities, and does analyses of performance in order to propose possible improvements.
Degree of higher education in analytical studies such as Economics, Engineering,…;
A few years of experience in Demand / Supply Planning is a clear asset but no must;
Affinity with the textile business;
Fluent in English, knowledge of French is an asset;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and especially Excel and Access;
Understanding of ERP, having worked with a planning tool (TXT) is a plus but no must.
Analytical with a logical and rational mind;
Good communicator with interpersonal and convincing skills:

Professional in representing the company to the outside world;

The Planner reports to the Planning Manager within Operations and will work from the company’s European headquarters that are based in Waterloo, Belgium, whilst travelling occasionally around Europe.
