The Product Leader is responsible for management of the entire product portfolio of our client, there managing a team of 3 Product Managers, a Product Development Manager, a Quality Manager and a Product Assistant. As Product Evangelist he/she defines the vision of the product portfolio, ensures that this is in line with the overall company strategy and goals, and leads the organization in launch of new products, product enhancements and redesign. He/she also fosters communication and collaboration between the Product Management cell and other cells within the organization (Sales, Operations, Market Intelligence & Strategic Branding, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance,…), makes sure that the right processes, tools, reporting and KPIs are in place to support and improve product-related activities, and controls the department budget.
University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or Engineering;
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in product development/management within the textile/fashion industry, with a proven track record in launching successful products
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role;
Fluent in English, knowledge of French is an asset;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Analytical and logical/rational with a helicopter view and strategic thinking;
People manager who can lead, motivate and stimulate different types of team members;
‘Marketing-minded’, proactive with initiative and action driven;
Autonomous, well-organised and efficient;
Creative to come up with new and original working methods, ideas and solutions;
