The Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating all Quality activities of the Talc plant that impact production and delivery of products to customers. He/she supervises the laboratory, looks for continuous improvements of the operational performance of the facility in Gent and interacts in that context on a daily basis with colleagues from Production and Maintenance.
Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Biosciences, or equivalent through experience;
Has worked in a quality management role;
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environmentwhereby experience at a mineral processing facility is desirable;
Dutch-speaking with very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written),and goodknowledge of French;
IT-literate, can work well with ERPand MS Office(Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
